Robots against routine

Nat Buckley

Traditionally robots were built to replace humans to perform boring, dangerous or repetitive tasks, or were used as a mirror we held up to ourselves. In stories, they allowed us to examine our morality. In real life, study of AI allows us to understand the human mind.

This project probes how the robot-human relationship can be redefined. Isn't it time we built technology that makes us more human, more playful, social and spontaneous, rather than replace each other? Can bringing random generation to real life delight us?
