Postnatal care is often absent in developing countries and where available most lack essential elements of care required. Simple things such as sterile gloves and forceps which we take for granted in western societies are often far and few between in some developing countries. So what would such places that can't afford the £20,000 incubators or the hi-tech ventilators use?
Solution? Developing the resources available to them to produce a cheap, efficient product more suitable for their needs.
