Could I change the way the fashion and beauty industries market the perception of beauty for women?
The fashion and beauty industries have been shaping the way women look for hundreds of years. As time has progressed, how this is achieved has become more radical with developments such as cosmetic surgery and computer technology used in the pursuit of "perfection". We are now seeing extremes when it comes to beauty, with fake augmentations and over ostentatious features. The industry has been magnifying and amplifying the imperfect, in order to get women to spend money on correcting it. I aim to make a change in the fashion and beauty world in order to create a vertically integrated opposition to media ideologies.
